Mid Wales Arts Big Winter Exhibition

Fragile Stillness was successfully chosen for Mid Wales Arts Big Winter Exhibition and today I was excited to visit it in the opening show.

The photo of the reeds in a stream was taken on a gloomy February afternoon in the peaceful countryside we’re fortunate to live in.  I was struck by the quiet atmosphere and muted colours of browns, tan and greens. It was very subdued and calm. A shaft of sunlight created some soft, diffused light on the scene.  For me, this is an image to contemplate to beauty and the peace.
